Under direction of the Deputy Director, Planning and Modal Programs, the incumbent performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical staff services assignments and alleviates the Deputy Director of administrative detail. The Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will serve to increase the capacity of the Deputy to carry out the duties and responsibilities aligned with the office of Planning and Modal Programs. The incumbent uses initiative to prepare reports, briefings, and recommendations regarding policy issues to the Deputy. The incumbent may serve as a representative of the office of the Deputy in meetings, conferences, etc. The AGPA will coordinate the office environment of the Deputy and may review the work of office staff.
